Air Driven Liquid Pumps
The inventors of the air driven liquid pump
A variety of Sprague Products hydraulic pumps is offered for various liquid output pressure up to 230 MPa (33,500 psi) Sprague Products pumps service water, oil and most corrosive chemicals. The pumps are rugged, service proven and virtually maintenance free.
The pumps are positive displacement type converting air inlet pressure to hydraulic output pressure. The pump uses low pressure air to act on a large area piston to produce high hydraulic pressure with a small area piston.
The Sprague PowerStar 4 pump series is a modular design of pump. With a common central air motor double ended pumps boost output volume by around 70% over the single ended versions, and reducing system pulsation to a minimum.
With a large built in air exhaust silencer the PowerStar 4 is significantly quieter the most of its contemporaries, and with maximum output pressures equal to the original Sprague pump makes this small versatile pump a must for system builders and laboratory applications.
